Stefan Heger

Stefan started to work out of a basement in 1996 in Frankfurt, Germany - recording jazz artist like Larry Willis, Peter Glessing and Maggy Scott and many local bands.
He moved to Boston in 1998 and worked at Bristol Studios and the Music Room as staff engineer. Most productions were done on Pro Tools. Stefan got a job offer from the SAE College to help build and setup the new school in New York, were he stayed for around 2 years. In the meantime he became the recording director for the NYC based Vision Jazz Festival - it is every year and hosts some of the best Avangard Jazz Musicians.
In 2002 Stefan went back to Germany to setup his own Mix and Mastering Studio in Cologne. Stefan specializes in a surround recording and mixing. Some of the vision jazz compilations and recently released Live Concert from Patrice "Raw & Uncut" are done in 5.1 Surround at FisheyeMusic in Cologne, Germany.
