Adam started his career in 1996 as assistant engineer to Tchad Blake at the Sunset Sound Factory in Hollywood. In 1998, Daniel Lanois asked Adam to record his next album, Shine. He worked exclusively as Daniel's engineer for the next ten years, recording and mixing Daniel's records. In 2009, he began doing freelance work with artists such as John Frusciante, Warpaint, and Brian Blade.  He currently lives in Paris, and works both here and in Los Angeles.
